WELCOME TO QUEER CAT HEADQUARTERS
HERE’S THE SITUATION:
2020 was Uncertain, but we Sur-Thrived Together: WHEN A GLOBAL PANDEMIC CANCELED 5 OF OUR 6 APOCALYPTIC CABARET SHOWS, we created and produced Felix B. Love is NOT alone!, one of the first interactive shows created specifically for Zoom. Then we all went to CAMP! We raised over $2,000 in community support to organizations including St James Infirmary, Black Visions Collective, People’s Breakfast Oakland, and Outdoor Afro; We partnered with with Working America to send 1,000 Get Out The Vote Postcards to Pennsylvania; We strengthened our commitment to pay artists: paying all artists at least minimum wage for all rehearsal and performance time; We made our Commitments to fight anti-Blackness, and are standing by them; We grew, by hiring and paying artists as Company Members. Queer Cat Productions is still here, we are stronger than ever, and we did it TOGETHER!
WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD? What will the future of theater be? How will we best support the artists who make this life so sweet? How will we advance the queer agenda, which we define as loving community, playfulness, joy, upending hierarchies, and collective liberation? How will we keep responding to the moment with playful, curious, haunted theater that leaves us more connected? The answer is clear:

Queer Cat Productions is making our first ever COMMUNITY CAT CALENDAR.
✨ With a donation of $1 or above, we will send you a special portal to send us a picture of your cat. We will carefully select twelve Cats of the Month and many many daily cats.
✨ When we reach our Cat Signal fundraising goal, we will add Queer Cat Affirmations and release this calendar to the world!
