Our Artist Offering was created by librecht baker (pictured), Genevieve Jessee, and Troy Rockett. The Manifestation Council spent many hours carefully designing this new project, with care and support for artists as the top priority. What does being part of creating this commission mean to you? ✨ Being part of this Commission, I am joy-filled because I get to witness and be part of the beginning or continuous stage of an artist's support, process, and win, and not simply win, but have their whole-self supported with funding, potential resources, and a welcoming kindness that should be at the heart of most theater companies. Moreover, knowing that a Black, Queer/Trans artist will be welcomed into the folds of this Commission, at whatever stage they are at in their artist-process, is a beautiful experiment, allowing me to do right on my own personal journey.
